Macarons are increasingly popular but are renowned for testing the skills of even the most practiced of bakers!
Our fun and informative Macaron Master Classes, suitable for bakers of all levels, combine a demonstration with a practical, hands-on session, with all participants making their own batch of macarons from scratch. We keep the class sizes small to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn the tricks of successful “macaronage” and to gain the confidence to bake delicious macarons.
During the class there is plenty of time for questions and to discuss the vagaries of macaron-making, over a cup of tea or coffee, whilst sampling some of our delicious macarons for yourself!
Our Master Classes, held at either Mrs B’s Kitchen Cafe, RG14 2AD, Newbury or The Wild Fork at Hampstead Noreys, RG18 0TP, cost £50 per person, which includes:
- a detailed demonstration
- a hands-on baking and creating session
- macaron tasting
- light refreshments
- The Real Macaron Recipe
Participants should bring an apron and a small box or tin for their macarons.
We aim to be as flexible as possible with our classes, and offer one-to-one or private small group sessions which can be held at Mrs B’s Kitchen Cafe in Newbury or at The Wild Fork in Hampstead Norreys, or in your own home or in another suitable venue. Demonstrations for larger groups are also possible.
We also arrange special classes for corporate events, hen-do’s and birthday parties, and can include a celebratory glass of Prosecco, an afternoon tea or wine and canapés.
